I’d actually be fine with Jim McElwain but we have had so much turnover with OCs recently. Seriously how long will he wait until he takes another head coaching job? We need stability.
Good news on that front is the early signing of the majority of this year's classWell that’s not what I meant. I mean it can’t look good for recruits to want to commit to us when they have no idea who will be coaching them.
There’s no way he’s a serious candidate.Please no...don’t need any scandal here.
That’s probably true. I just don’t like the constant coaching turnover. Part of the process I suppose...Honestly, as long as the name Nick Saban is listed under HC as coming back. I really don't think it matters. We've interchanged staff like paper towels and the machine keeps churning out NC's. The constant is one man, Nick Saban. I think recruits and their parents can look at 5 titles in 9 years and come to the same conclusion.
Not according to Jake Fromm's dad. (Blue Font)They do know WHO their head coach will be. So, that's what really matters, I think. 5 NC's in 9 years.
I truly believe that recruiting may have been something he wasn't into. Just a hunch
Not advocating for Freeze; but, you can't always hold performance at another school to heart. He probably never developed a running game in Oxford because his budget would not allow for that. He only had a certain amount of money to spend on players. :biggrin:My issues with hugh freeze besides the obvious is he never developed a good running game while in oxford....and then there is well you know....The obvious.
Kinda my point of there will be a very good coach, maybe one we don't know, but CNS does and it'll work out.Honestly, as long as the name Nick Saban is listed under HC as coming back. I really don't think it matters. We've interchanged staff like paper towels and the machine keeps churning out NC's. The constant is one man, Nick Saban. I think recruits and their parents can look at 5 titles in 9 years and come to the same conclusion.
I fear his attitude problems would rub Saban the wrong way and you gotta know that Saban knows his reputation for being a bit of a buttMatt Canada, LOL
I liked what he did there too. I thought about him before we hired Daboll!Dan Enos just signed as WR coach for UM and Hairball at $150k.
I thought he did job with QBs at Arky.
Would definitely have better Jimmies and Joes here
Now he's officially gone from LSU this was one of the main problems O had with him. Apparently this has been a problem everywhere Canada has gone. He's had "personality conflicts" with the HC everywhere he's gone. Probably best for us to look elsewhere.I fear his attitude problems would rub Saban the wrong way and you gotta know that Saban knows his reputation for being a bit of a butt
