That is so bad, I'm not sure they could do worse if it were their intent

Bryant, Jr. is incredibly protective of his father's image. Especially anything connecting the houndstooth pattern with Alabama athletics in any sport, any form, or any fashion. Let alone football.

Something tells me that he will find it as unflattering as we all do.

I will not be surprised if they hear from the Bryant family's legal entourage, and I'm not kidding. He can fund a fight with SI's legal team out of pocket change.

I wonder how many incredible images of, you know, sports they had to pass up to come up with that thing? Of course, I cancelled my subscription to SI when DeFord did his hatchet job on Coach Bryant and have never renewed, so there's that.
