That's what I fear. They seem to be swallowing the whistle so far.

considering how well the barn scores, our d is doing well enough ... if officiating doesn’t kill us in the second half and we cut way down on the mistakes on offense, we’ll be in great shape

It’s simple...fundamentals have went out the window. In my HS and college career, if we did not get a hand in the face of the shooter or at least make an effort to do that, you did not play. Now, it is ole’ defense, just wave at them as you go by.

When I played, we got rewarded with a coke if we fouled out. It meant we were playing aggressive.
