It was only a brief glimpse - I could stomach it ---- it did bring up a wonderful memory of Thomas Rayam's game-winning block in Happy Valley!!!
That, plus, say what you will about Curry, he never lost to UT... Just couldn't beat the barn.
Fantastic play. The INT he had for a touchdown almost brings tears to my eyes to this day. Just a fantastic effort by Teague!
Yeah, I think everyone did a double take, but Curry taught us that any coach we get must understand our history and the importance of winning certain games. I mean I know it's easy to say sure any coach will "get" that we have to beat Auburn, but Curry, who was a smart person--not necessarily a smart coach--proves that it is more than an intellectual exercise in understanding that to Alabama fans, football is more than a game. Although he made a good living from football, I think Curry looked at football ultimately as "just a game." We know better.
I love that play and I love Thomas. He lives in the Alabaster area now and is an awesome guy!
