The schedule features three scrimmages on the final weekend leading into the 2018 season

TUSCALOOSA, AL – Alabama baseball kicked off week three of spring practice on Monday afternoon with its first of three full practices heading into the weekend. Friday, Saturday and Sunday will once again be scrimmage days for the Tide as the team prepares for its final set of intrasquads before the start of the 2018 campaign.
Monday began at 2:30 p.m. CT and was the first of three full practices on the docket. Tuesday will feature a 2 p.m. start with Wednesday serving as the Crimson Tide's off day. The team will get back to practice on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. leading into the weekend's three intrasquads.
The Friday schedule features a 2:30 p.m. start to practice with a 4 p.m. first pitch for the scrimmage. Saturday's schedule will be moved up, with the Tide practicing at 8:45 a.m. before a 10:15 a.m. start to the scrimmage. Following the intrasquad, the Crimson Tide will take part in its annual "Grand Slammers Barbeque" before heading to Coleman Coliseum to sign autographs at the men's basketball game from 3:45-4:45 p.m. Sunday is set to close out the week with a 1 p.m. start to practice and a 2:30 p.m. scrimmage time.
All practice times are subject to change depending on weather conditions for the day. Scrimmages are subject to change, while the amount of innings and pitches per game is to be determined as spring practice progresses. Dates and times for the upcoming week of practice and scrimmages can be found on RollTide.com each Monday.
Sewell-Thomas Stadium will be open to fans who wish to watch the practice and scrimmage dates. Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are encouraged to stay in the lower bowl seating area, as access to the upper levels of the stadium is restricted.
