Hearing news that Jeremy Nunley, a member of the '92 National Championship team, passed away at age 46 yesterday.

I dreaded clicking this because - since there's no RIP in the title - that maybe he's gotten a bad diagnosis or something.
This is awful. As Kareem Abdul-Jabbar said when notified about the passing of Pete Maravich, "He was younger than I am."
Here's what I find as I age.....when it's someone around (say) Stabler's age (Snake was born four weeks after pop)......
it's "Well, yeah he had a good life but got a good trip."
When it's someone like Aaron Douglas or Altee Tennpenny, I'm saddened almost to tears if not actual ones.
But these fellers my age that I watched - Kevin Turner, Nunley, and Byron Holbrooks......it just leaves me numb.
