Certainly not. He makes good plays with his legs. I doubt that part of his game is abandoned. He looked good to me throwing from the pocket any time he got to play last year, so I am not going to say that he "needs" to be moved around to throw a good ball short in the middle of the field until I see evidence of this.Also, remember that several of Tua's best plays against GA were running plays. He converted several 3rd downs with his legs in that game. Do we really want to take that away just to make him into a "pocket passer"?
I don't really watch pro ball, so I didn't know about their schemes much. I think Brees threw a good bit of inside slants to a TE a couple of years back. Were the throwing lanes designed for that in the O-Line blocking?
