TUSCALOOSA, AL – The Alabama Crimson Tide and Jacksonville State Gamecocks will flip their 2018 home-and-home series matchups, the two teams announced on Tuesday morning.
Game one of the two-game series will now be played in Tuscaloosa on April 3, with the Tide traveling to Jacksonville on May 8.
The original schedule had the two teams playing in Jacksonville on April 3 and Tuscaloosa on May 8. The games were switched to allow time for the completion of Jacksonville State's new baseball stadium before the May 8 matchup.
All tickets for the originally scheduled May 8 game in Tuscaloosa will be honored on April 3.
