Many so called "National Championships" are nothing more than regional championships. Obviously they don't all have national appeal.

But, does anyone care? Ages ago the following was miniscule, with zero coverage. They give championships in so many things... If I had applied myself I might have been in contention for Small College Poker Champion... (Misspent Youth)

UCLA has a huge fan base in Asia, I saw several UCLA only sportsware shops in Korea.

Why? They've had no connection to Alabama since 2009...

Russell Athletic is getting out of the team business. They messed up when Under Armour came on the scene. They should have gotten in the shoe and equipment business.

I didn't realize Stanford's enrollment was so small.

something is off with that list. The source it's pulling from is an NCAA document, but even that document doesn't list ANY national championships for Alabama in football. seriously, it says we have ZERO. Therefore, grain of salt required.

Stanford racks up in swimming, tennis, volleyball and water polo. Tennis is a huge market sport, but the others are tiny.

None of our football titles were awarded by the NCAA.
