When college football’s inaugural early signing period — the first chance for players to sign binding letters of intent — opened on Dec. 20 and slammed shut two days later, Purdy held off on making his choice. I think I would wait and see unless I thought I would get left out. In this sererio a player can alway sign with a Group of Five if his patience does not pay off. Baybe not Boise, but someone would offer him.
