Playing receiver in the NFL is easy. I would do it if I didn't get so many chicks with my architecture game.
Hines Ward isn't quite the good example in this case. He played Wide Receiver, Running Back, and Quarterback while at Georgia.

I don't think the issue is that folks (on this board, at least) think the move is easy. The issue with Jalen is that he is clearly not the best QB on the team (maybe not in the top 2 now) and that means a path to the NFL will have to be at a position other than QB.
Sure anybody can get three outs, but getting three outs in a row, now that's skill.

Pats WR Edelman was a QB at Kent State before transiting to WR in the pros. Brad Smith as a Randle-El esque type talent for the Jets, after being a QB at Missouri.
It looked like he was covering 10 yards with every stride.

A quick google query provides several links of articles of the top college QBs converted to a different position in the NFL. Seems to me like the hit ratio on the converted players is about the same as those that were drafted for their collegiate position.
