Didn’t Cobb from UK play QB too?Hines Ward comes to mind as well, since we're talking about a player with the Steelers. I think Ward made a very smart career move with changing positions. LOL!

Big difference in Track and Football. Very big guys tackle you in football.Didn't LSU have a kid named Shyrone Carey (I think that was his name) who was a speed burner on the track team that gave the NFL a go after college and fizzled out?
It's like being a reliever in baseball. Anybody can get three outs!!!Playing receiver in the NFL is easy. I would do it if I didn't get so many chicks with my architecture game.
Hines Ward isn't quite the good example in this case. He played Wide Receiver, Running Back, and Quarterback while at Georgia.Hines Ward comes to mind as well, since we're talking about a player with the Steelers. I think Ward made a very smart career move with changing positions. LOL!
I don't think the issue is that folks (on this board, at least) think the move is easy. The issue with Jalen is that he is clearly not the best QB on the team (maybe not in the top 2 now) and that means a path to the NFL will have to be at a position other than QB.
Sure anybody can get three outs, but getting three outs in a row, now that's skill. It's like being a reliever in baseball. Anybody can get three outs!!!
Looked like he was barely moving but nobody caught him.Former Ark QB and personal nightmare to me Matt Jones played several years in the NFL for the Jags at WR.
It looked like he was covering 10 yards with every stride.Looked like he was barely moving but nobody caught him.
