Have to admit that I didn't come up with that myself. At some point it was being discussed as an additional guideline to the graduate transfer rule and it just makes sense if they're going to let grad transfers play immediately..

So, what is the story on Brandon? Is he leaving or not leaving? I still see his name on 2018 rosters. Just wondering because we don't hear anything down here in Looziana.

He has to go through an appeal I think. He has time to transfer. I think he's just finishing out summer term and transfer in july or august.

He's headed to Tennessee. Good luck to him.

That is where I expected him to land. They have no one capable of playing center at an SEC level.

I bear no ill will towards Kennedy, but I cannot wish him luck - I hope his new team goes 0-12 next year.

    Sorry-not-sorry.

I think Alabama will lose more to transfers than most teams will, but I also think Alabama will get more really good players than most will. A lot of kids will want to go out with a ring, not to mention more cred with NFL scouts.

edit: may already been said. I didn't yet read the entire thread

I don't think you can make this statement just yet. Infact I am positive that none of us know just what lasting effect this will have. May cause an avalanche. May not. None of us here can presume what the transfer landscape will become.

Well, we can all look at it this way. It`s a gross understatement to say that we`re all extremely interested in college football. This will only make it more interesting!

I agree. Kennedy did what he thought was best for himself. I hope he turns out ok.... I hope his new team doesn't.
