Without reading all the responses to this thread, my opinion is that LSU would currently be in a much better position but Coach would not have stayed at LSU when Texas or some other school came calling and he would eventually made the move to the NFL. However, he would have won two or three nattys more at LSU and they probably would be in a much better position coaching wise than they are now with a Kirby Smart or someone else with Saban ties.
