They interviewed a mother earlier, who's daughter was in the class where the shooting started and she hadn't heard from her daughter or from anyone else regarding her status. I can't nor do I want to imagine.

i can't fathom, it has to be brutal. it started out a normal friday morning in the last couple of weeks of school.

They just showed a local FD has a "Mass Casualty Ambulance." A converted bus, but still...what the hell? It's not even the City of Houston, which, if any city had one, I'd expect it to be HFD. This was Atascosita, a smaller town NW of Houston, by Humble/Kingwood. Makes no sense why they have one. Two more years....sad that I'm counting down the time my youngest son has in high school.

Now I'm hearing reports of IEDs/Pipe bombs and they are also on site at mobile home (yup) looking for other devices where the student lived.

Thoughts and prayers to all affected.

I'll be interested to see if there were any warning signs ahead of this. I think rather than divert to gun control debate - which doesn't seem to to anything - maybe focus elsewhere.

Like metal health, stability, and warning signs.
