I see the Braves could not come to terms with Carter Stewart the number 8 pick overall, and Mississippi State signee. The article I read said Stewart is the 2nd bulldog signee to not sign with a major league club.Not sure who they lost but they should certainly be strong again next season. Point is there is no reason Bama should not be on there level in my opinion.

Yeah, this is a huge get for State. Supposedly the Braves didn't want to give him huge money because of an injury he'd had? I thought the MLB draft was slotted? Anyway, tough for Braves fans but great news for State, having the #8 overall pick on their team.

They said last night on the radio.The Braves found about a wrist injury and only offered him the minimum they had to after seeing x-rays. Apparently by offering him they can replace the pick in next years draft.
