huge pick up!
his relations with Coach Kuligowski from his days at Miami really cemented his decision to commit to Bama.
Bama now has 3 of the Top 13 players from Georgia, all defensive players at that.

Awesome news. Welcome and RTR Justin. For those saying Kirby was locking the borders of the state with the top players, WRONG! His video is very impressive.

Great news!! Welcome Justin and RTR. I may have been wrong ( or perhaps premature ) in anointing Kirby as an all-powerful, all encompassing juggernaut who would completely and utterly control the state of Georgia. If accurate, it`ll be one of those things that you love to be wrong about! Still a long way to go, though, until February.

TJ, his film is really impressive as you stated. he is a big kid as it is, but will probably gain another 15 more lbs to play DE in our system. he changes direction without effort at the point of attack. he disengages quickly with the OL and arrives with bad intentions. great open space tackler too. he is just outside the Top 100.

Kirby is working against Bama, AU and Clemson....... he will get his share, but he won’t get them all

This is a great pickup for Bama and will sting UGA fans I know

you're not exactly wrong , but fans esp. the dawg kind seem to forget that Georgia as a state has way too many elite players for UGA to pick up. you can only recruit certain players in the position of need for each cycle. so the Top 30 best players in Georgia, more than half are not committing to UGA and there is no guarantee the Top 5 are going to Athens ( see Trevor Lawrence last year and Owen Pappoe this year). Kirby will get his no doubt about that , but interestingly enough , he as well as past UGA coaches have done is recruit out of state to fill their roster. its been that way for awhile and its not going to change anytime soon.

you are correct. dawg fans are getting impatient and upset that their DL recruiting isn't where it should be at this time. some are saying they better get use to losing top players to other schools...

The lswho fans thought the same about Miles and Louisiana too until we went in and hand picked who we wanted. As long as we have Coach Saban, we're a threat to any kid in any state. I'm loving it because Kirby deserves to lose every top recruit he wants to us. Karma.

Yea the "lower tier" guys are not wanted by UGA and this kid ain't a lower tier type of recruit. This is a kid they wanted and will still go after until he signs with us. They are like us, we go after in-state kids when one is good enough that we want. Cherry pick so to speak, and UGA does the same in Georgia. But this ain't a kid they are ho-hum about and a huge pick up for the good guys. Just hope we can hold on to him

Almost like Kirby Smart was not the sole reason for our dominant d-line all those years he was here. That's whats up!
