Re: Recruiting

You may be right, but it remains to be seen. Never forget that KS understudied with arguably ( and then again, maybe there is no argument ) the best that`s ever been.
That does help, but ultimately it comes down to you. Who you are, what you know and what you are willing and able to do will be reflected in your program. Only so much can be transferred from someone else. It's theoretically possible for Kirby to be better than Saban, though it's highly unlikely, but we just don't know yet and won't for at least a few more years. Program trajectories can change, up or down, based on circumstances and/or just one powerful personality, but it takes a lot to change them. We see both now: ND, Neb, UTe, Clemson, et al., though they can still revert to the mean; then Alabama, OSU, OU, et al., though they can start their slide today. You just never know. Some are in the middle: UTx, Miami, FSU, USC, et al. They look like they're coming back, but we don't know yet. Even Neb and UTe have hope with what appears to be promising coaches and the state of Tenn suddenly, because of the rise of Nashville, producing some big time talent. It's amazing that UF continues to flounder, though Mullen is a good coach, but a bad recruiter. It's all fascinating to watch.

Re: Recruiting

It will be close and it may come down to how many each school signs. I don't see them getting Webb or finishing #1.

BTW, this is a teaser title.
Tell me about it...a thread entitled "Recruiting" on the Recruiting Board :rolleye2:
