And then we’ll see the same thing again after next season.....until BAMA hoists the trophy, yet again.....

Media does what media do. They're extremely selective, but in this case is is fairly odd. They would have nominated the kick 6 for 100 awards if they could have (it won two). Alabama's epic comeback and overtime win? Nothing to see here, Alabama's national championship team? Meh, there's some team no one watched or cared about, let's nominate them instead.

Basically if another team did exactly what Alabama did, there would have been multiple nominations. It doesn't matter though, Alabama had the hardware that counts.

Do other fan bases get as worked up about the media (individual broadcasters, networks) as Bama fans do? Just wondering.

It's a fake awards show where they compare athletes, plays and teams from different sports. I can't think of anything less relevant or important...
