I'm sure they treat their band members better than the cow college just to the southeast. My step daughter marched in awbern's band and really worked hard but got treated poorly IMO. It seemed to me much more practice time than football but no glory. The football team flies to games and stay in Hotels, the band rides the bus and arrives at game time and leaves right after. She loved it and that's what is important, but I thought she was really taken advantage of. No scholarship, she was a walk on and knew what she was getting into.
