It's rules are very outdated. Too many cars compete per race, cars that are ridiculously damaged allowed back on the track, slowing race time down to mind numbing length. I've been watching it for nearly 60 years, I've been to Charlotte, Atlanta, and Talladega, also North Wilkesboro, a sad missing member of the circuit. I rarely watch anymore, it's downright depressing. Many seats are empty, ratings are falling, and now this. If they don't make the above changes, thus better competition, shorter time, more interest, I believe it will revert back to the "Wide World of Sports" which used to feature Daytona and a few other races. Never mind Brian France.
