I won't count Legion Field.

1. Superdome: Alabama vs Penn State (Jan 79)
2. Cotton Bowl (the old stadium): Alabama vs. Baylor (Jan 81). I was stationed in Oklahoma then. As we were going in, the Baylor fans were very obnoxious. Going out after a 30-2 thrashing, they had disappeared.
3. Georgia Dome: Alabama vs. Virginia Tech (2013?)

Some other CFB venues without Bama: the old Orange Bowl (my folks took me a couple of times in the 60s when we lived in Florida), the Astrodome, the Alamodome (several Alamo Bowls and some CFL games in 95. Got some easy 55 yard line seats to those games...)

One day I want to go to the OU-UT game out there.
Got to go the the Red River Shootout a couple of years ago when Texas upset OU. GREAT atmosphere at the State Fair of Texas!

I also got to see Texas vs. OK. St a couple of years ago at DKR in Austin. Fun atmosphere but was with a season ticket holder and so we had access to to the food indoors. Yep, big as Texas!

Knoxville, Gainesville, Red Stick, Lexington, Jackson MS, Auburn, Atlanta, Nawlins, the Rose Bowl in 2001, Jerry World and I attended the only championship game we've lost under Saban in Tampa. Oddly enough, i've been seated in the highest row of the upper deck twice in my travels - Knoxville and Tampa.

Twice in Knoxville. Won one and lost one. The loss was Shula’s last year. Boy what a difference a couple of years can make.

Knoxville 1990 (I lived a little north of Birmingham)
Starkville don't remember the year but it was a horrible rainstorm and was miserable
Tuscaloosa 4 times (I live in Atlanta).

I doubt I will travel again. Tickets cost too much, the traveling stinks, and I can see it better from my recliner. Seriously I have taken some nice vacations that don't cost nearly as much as people are selling tickets for.

I might can help you here.

Did we win or lose?

It rained during the game in Starkville in 1988 (we won) and 1998 (we lost).

The 1988 rain was far worse. I lived about 22 miles from MSU at that point, and it was just miserable.
David Casteal ran all over the Dawgs.

I was at the 98 game we lost, but most of the rain was before or after the early start.

UT 2011 Little liquid courage that night and got to take my brother to that game
Mississippi State 2001 We destroyed AU that season. I think a week later after this one.
Chattanooga 2009 Got to see a little history that game. ARENAS!
Ole Miss 2010 It was COLD that night
GA Southern 2011 The game was great, who knew what would happen on that drive home to Pensacola that night! Thank you Iowa State!
North Texas 2011

Absolute worst: @UT 2000 lost 20-10 We were terrible that year. Thank you Opp, Alabama.

i went to the dump that was miss state in the 92 season. watched us play vandy in nashville in 2001. i went to several games in the ga dome and also visited jerry world for the um game. i absolutely hated that stadium. i lost count of the games i went to at legion field. most of the big games were played here during my hs and college days (80s-early 90s)

i have been to the benz several times for atlanta united games, but no football yet.

outside of the times we play in atlanta, i am pretty much done with attending games in person.

Good guys won. 88? Could not have been 98 because I was with my dad (he died in January of that year). Wow I did not realize it was that long ago. I must really be getting old. I might be getting the years mixed up. I have seen them play Sate twice, once in Starkvegas and once at Legion Field. Thanks Selma.

I went to Arlington for the Michigan game, Happy Valley for the Penn St. game, and the Music City Bowl in Nashville. I think that is it, but the first two of those were both great and fun experiences. The MCB was another terrible performance. Well, I was also in Legion Field for the 1991 Iron Bowl, which was officially an Auburn home game with their logo on the field, but I don't really count that. I had just graduated in December of 92 when we were set to play Miami for the title in NOLA. I did not go to that game, and I have been afraid to attend any other championship game opportunity due to superstition. Well, that and I'm cheap.
