Kind of what I was thinking. I cannot believe that the EU does not have a reg on this. (And I can believe that a Portugese museum would ignore such a reg if it did, in fact, exist.)
But then no one could have fallen in...and you KNOW there was a betting pool on that.
You must not be an art person. Some people just don't get it. You are supposed to look at the man falling in the hole ironically.

I think of it more as an IQ test - if you're dumb enough to fall into the hole, you failed.
