Ohio State on Wednesday suspended head football coach Urban Meyer for the first three games of the season, and suspended athletic director Gene Smith without pay from Aug. 31-Sept. 18 following an investigation into how they handled domestic abuse allegations former assistant coach Zach Smith in 2015.
