A public official who puts on a hat with a rebel flag is too stupid to be a good senator.
I still don’t think that necessarily means she is racist or was catering to racists. But it shows poor critical thinking skills. Which means she fits right in in Washington.

So now it's done as a historic reminder and to stir up racial passions to divide, once again, along lines of color because clearly blacks are still being oppressed in Mississippi and not an intimidation tactic by some fringe elements. Nice.
