Not going to be definitive on all these because this seems like a tame opening week but these are usually when the crazy stuff happens.
San Diego State v. #13 Stanford - The Cardinal start seasons slow lately which has bitten them in the butt w/r/t playoff opportunities. SDSU beat them last year, so Stanford ought to be on red alert but only time will tell. Upset potential: 10%
Louisville v. #1 Alabama - There's a chance. Alabama has had a helluva off-season in terms of distractions and there are plenty of pieces to replace from the 2017 championship squad. Upset potential: 5%
FAU v. #7 Oklahoma - Lane ought to have their attention but I'm not sure that would help OU's defense at all. Upset potential: 10%
#21 UCF v. UCONN - A post championship hangover when you didn't even win one? Upset potential: 35%
