Well, I'd say O inherited considerably more talent but Herman has played a much easier schedule. Kind of a wash in terms of who inherited a better situation. It's more of the fact that Herman was considered the next great up and coming coach and has lost to Maryland two years in a row whereas O was kind of an afterthought but has outperformed Herman..
