LSU football loses top defender K'Lavon Chaisson to season-ending knee injury

I thought he looked okay walking off the field. Terrible news, hope he recovers quickly...

Bruce Feldman of The Athletic reported Tuesday that sophomore linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson will miss the rest of the season due to an injury suffered in the Tigers' win on Sunday night.

Ed Orgeron confirmed the news later on Tuesday in a regularly scheduled media availability.

I thought the same thing when he jogged off. Looked to be minor. Hope the young man makes a full recovery. He’s a heckava player.

Are the new tackling rules causing linebackers to leave themselves open to injury? Seems to be more linebackers getting hurt.

I thought the same watching him leave the field. Guess it's time for coach eaux to **** another 5* to take his place. Least that's what the media thinks they do.

Dang. I remember thinking "aw crap" when he got hurt then thought "ok, good" when he walked off.
Hate to see any player get these type of injuries.

They also lost their right tackle for two to three weeks with a leg injury as well. Not good when you've got the Auburn game in two weeks.

Sure hate that for that young man. Hope he will be good as new come game 1 in 2019. We Bama fans know about knee injuries for sure. God's best for you young fella!

Glad to see the responses in this thread. We can all dislike certain opponents, but Not to the point of seeing derailing injuries. I hope K’Lavon comes back strong in 2019 and until then, the door is open for several players to prove their worth.
