Is the emergence of Williams as a force at NT due to the new DL coach? Or is it just him emerging from the shadow of D. Payne now that he has moved on to the NFL?

Guys have been saying for a few years that he'd be a good one eventually...I think this may be "Eventually"

He was expected to step up this year with Payne leaving. However, I have been surprised at how great he has played. I sure hope he keeps it up with some tougher competition.

No knock on Williams - thank goodness we have him and that he is playing so well. However . . .he has emerged because there is no Payne/Robinson/etc that we have come to expect.

playing his role in the rotation last year he played very well when he had the chance. He was 4th on the team for TFL and also added a couple of sacks. On a per snap basis he was likely more disruptive than any DL but R Davis.
