Tua is 10/10 for 207 and 4 TD's on 3rd down right now for the year. He was 7/7 for 142 and 3 TDs against Arkansas State. Wow.

This was the reason for our last two post-season losses, so that's good - to put it mildly.

Yes. With Tua's arm talent and accuracy. The defense has to be honest and defense on all the field. Then it's almost impossible not to make rooms for our receivers 3 times in a row.

Tua may rack up 100 point if he wants to in the past 2 games.

I didn't realize he was 100% perfect on 3rd downs but I have found myself being completely relaxed on 3rd downs with him at the Helm.

There isn't a down and distance situation that I'm not completely confident he can convert. He's just Unreal to be honest..... never seen a QB like him in College.

Whenever he finally gets a chance to play a full half or maybe 3 qtrs he's going to ring up 350+ yards and 5-6 TD's easy.

Full 4 qtrs??? It will be eye popping record breaking video game stats.

And a touchdown every 6.5 passes.

#2 in the nation in passing yards per attempt, which is nice to see as well

and pass efficiency rating

Yeah I think he started the game at 1 td every 7.1 passes then 2 of his first 4 passes were for touchdowns.

I don’t know when he will get to play a full game though. The games get out of hand rather quickly with him playing QB.

Yeah now his career average is 1 TD per 6.58 Attempts and 4.47 Completions

For the Season he's throwing 1 TD per 5.83 Attempts and 4.16 Completions.

It's just out of this world if you think about it. He's basically going 4/5 or 4/6 per drive ending with a TD Pass.

In just 112 Career Attempts he's thrown 17 TD's!!!!

To put that into some perspective it took Jalen 255 Attempts last year to reach 17 TD's.

Mindblowing stuff. If he can start getting some near full games under his belt he will DESTROY the Alabama single season passing records this year.

We should only call 3rd down plays the whole game then ;)
I almost started a thread this week on this topic: given Tua’s ability to make a first down from seemingly any down and distance, should Bama adopt a “no punt” philosophy when he is in the game. I mean, if Tua is that good on three downs, how good would he be if he always had FOUR downs to make a first down??

With our punting performance so far this season I am getting closer to halfway serious.

I'm fully on board the Tua train, how could a Bama fan not be? He's obviously a singular talent.

He's so good, he might have made Namath a second stringer if he had come along earlier.

Tua's character is as praiseworthy as is his talent, if you ask me. The same can be said about Hurts, in my humble opinion. There is no shame in Hurts losing his starting position to Tua, I don't know of any other quarterback playing college ball that would put Tua on the bench as a second stringer.
