Memphis basketball signee James Wiseman keeps up recruiting pressure on Trendon Watford

Regarding game between Memphis East (Wiseman) and Mountain Brook (Watford):

Watford finished with a double-double, scoring 14 of his 18 points in the second half and grabbing 11 rebounds en route to leading Mountain Brook to a 51-47 win. Wiseman had 20 points and seven rebounds. Both were named co-MVPs.

Wiseman, a 7-foot Memphis signee, has been persistent in his efforts to recruit Watford.

"He texts me pretty much every day, so I hear from him pretty much all the time." said Watford

Regarding game between Memphis East (Wiseman) and Mountain Brook (Watford):

It would be dumb to sign with Memphis. They already have 2 bigs to compete with for playing time. The fact is there is not a team more in need of a power forward than us.
