Well Week 4 for was fun! Several top 25 teams either lost or at least struggled to win....I know one that didn't, but....we gave up yards?.....and points??

Onward!

As always, TideFans.com neither endorses nor encourages any gambling (or other degenerate behavior) of any kind (unless your state says it's legal to do so). The numbers below are for entertainment purposes only (unless your state says otherwise).

  • In what is surely to be a game with revenge in mind, Clemson is a 21pt favorite over Syracuse
  • Kentucky & South Carolina is a Pick 'Em
  • Florida St. is somehow a 5.5 pt favorite over Louisville
  • In the game of the week, Ohio St. is a (only) a 4pt favorite over Penn St.
  • Because of the uncertainty of QB Jarrett Guarantano, there is no line yet on UGA vs. Tennessee. Pretty sure it'll be ugly though
  • Auburn is favored by 27.5 over Southern Miss
  • Bama is favored by....Oh my goodness...by 49 points or Louisiana Lafayette. Good Lord. This is absurd.
  • Oklahoma is favored by 21 over Baylor
  • Texas (who is apparently back) is favored by 7 over Kansas St.
  • In what will surely be a track meet, Texas Tech is a 4.5 pt dog to West Va.
  • Miss St. is a 7.5 pt favorite over Florida in the Mullen Bowl
  • LSU is favored by 13 over Ole Miss in the Coach O Bowl
  • USC is favored by 3.5 over Arizona
  • Notre Dame is favored by 4 over Stanford
  • Michigan is a 13 pt favorite over Northwestern
  • TAMU is favored by 17.5 over Arkansas
  • No line for Vandy & Tennessee St.

Enjoy the games!!

I'm surprised that Vegas even gave a line on our game with Louisiana-Lafayette. I won't pick it because Saban may call off the dogs before it gets too ugly. I'll take Clemson-21 over Syracuse. After last year I think Clemson shows no mercy in this game.

Ohio State vs. Penn State should be a great game, but I think OSU wins and covers. Too bad I hate both teams.

The only way we don't cover that spread is because, we may not want to?

It would be true to form for Texas to lose to K-State.

I would say Florida could probably take Miss State, but the game is at Starkville. They will be out for blood, probably.

I would also love Stanford against Notre Dame, but it's at South Bend.

It would be a huge letdown, IMO, if A&M doesn't cover against Arkansas, but teams often have a rough outing the week after playing us.

It being at Penn State, I think they get it done and give Ohio State its first loss.
Texas Tech/West Virginia is going to look like a basketball score
If it were at Stanford, I would pick the trees for sure. Notre Dame is not that good though. This one is a tough one.
Northwestern might just surprise.

I think the Cuse keeps it closer than 21, really like West Va big over TT and I'll take Stanford over the Domers.

The Texas Tech that lost to Ole Miss, that Texas Tech?
Yep. The same one that just beat #15 Oklahoma St. by 24 on its home field yesterday. The QB that played vs. Ole Miss got hurt and the true freshman QB that took over for him is perfect for that offense and is doing work.

ND sat Winbush, and his backup looked really good. I’m avoiding this one, if Winbush was starting I’d take the trees.

Cheryl Bosa, the mother of Ohio State defensive end Nick Bosa, tells me Nick is in Philadelphia for rehab after undergoing core muscle surgery last week. Cheryl Bosa said Nick will return to Philadelphia in November to be re-evaluated. "It would be then that we'll assess his readiness," she said. Cheryl said her son wants to return for Ohio State this season but that they'll discuss his situation (NFL) as a family before making a decision. He's expected to fully recovery from the injury and is working with well-known core muscle specialist Dr. William Meyers of the Vincera Institute. "He's with the best doctor in the world for the injury that he sustained," Cheryl Bosa said.

If Texas is back they will beat K State by more than 7; the wildcats are not very good. Michigan looks like a good bet this week, as does Oklahoma with something to prove after last week.

Well that's not great for Ohio State.
No it’s not. I had heard when he was still in high school, that he was better than his brother. If that’s an accurate assessment, losing that kind of talent for an extended period of time will hurt (ask the Chargers).
