Question: Your thoughts about improving our running attack

One reason I don't like the RPO is it takes "time" to develop and for the QB to make the read. It seems to me that things are happening so fast that sometimes it's "just a guess" to give or keep.

Both Tua and Jalen struggled quite often with the read.

Also, because of the time it takes to make the read the OL have to sustain blocks that much longer.

I guess I'm just old school and like to see sweeps off of tosses and play action from under center.

I think we've got the tools to run this more. Not advocating the RPO goes away, but that we do more with the talent we have. I'd love to see our RBs hit holes without the desitation of the RPO. Shoot, if we are going to run the RPO that much, I'd occasionally mix in some option off the edge, especially for Jalen. Again, I'm old school.

But I'd also must be happy for us to run straight up shotgun all the time and let Tua pass 'em to death.
