Like I said, let's just hope it never comes to that. And I apologize for the credibility remark. I get that it is just your opinion and that was out of line.

I will only go with the Playoff from now on. Either way, I definitely wonít do what UCF does.

It sort of already did last year with UCF. Obviously the AP has a better pedigree than the Lassie thing, but I donít think any serious person could consider someone a champion when they didnít make the playoffs. (I assume weíre talking about a team not making the playoffs but still being crowned co-champions. Crowning a team who made the playoffs but doesnít win is even more ludicrous)

I think most of us probably feel this way.

I'm just saying that UA would claim it without hesitation, whether any of us did or not.

Yep - the school would claim it, and the PTB in the sport would recognize it. Whether or not the fans get behind it might depend on the circumstances. I can imagine scenarios in which I would support a split championship if a team was seriously slighted when left out of the CFP.

If there were one question I could ask this guy, If Clemson played Alabama tonight on a neutral field who would win? Ok two questions, he obviously thinks Clemson's a better team, so, why would Clemson win?

I do not care who he votes for as #1.

He voted Alabama #1 this week. No one voted Clemson #1 this week. Keith Sargeant voted OSU #1 this week as the only outlier.

All of the AP voters have been processed and have us at #1 but there is one voter in the coach's poll who still has Clemson at the top.

Maybe CNS will use this a motivation tool.
