Not sure if this idea has been put somewhere else but driving around around Mobile week or two ago some radio guys with a crazy theory that i thought may have a long shot chance.
Jalen has made some good progress on throwing side of the ball in the last year. What if say he stays next year and red shirts meanwhile he is developing passing game getting better etc. Tua goes pro after next year then in 2020 its Jalen vs baby tua. Assuming Jalen is nearing his goal of nfl qb he holds off baby tua and wins the job. This would still leave baby tua at least 2 years of eligibility and jalen gets a whole year as a starter after he completes his jedi training and a nice send off as an Alabama player who will not soon be forgotten.
