Reportedly, Coach Donahue was a primary recruiter for Bo and insisted Alabama recruit him as a LB. (Derrick Henry wasn't the first :smile:.)

Why would Kingsbury settle for NC? I would expect him to be in high demand as an OC. He could pick a much more talent loaded team than that.....

What a deal Carolina is getting in Mack Brown! And if Colt hadn't gotten hurt, they'd have won the ACC in his first year!

I actually think Mac Brown is a real good hire for North Carolina. He is a very good coach. Plus he was there while all the academic fraud was rampant... he already knows the system.

Jeff Brohm has called a team meeting for this morning. That's after meeting with Louisville's AD yesterday.

If that means what I think it means, I am saying it is not a wise move for him. I get it when Mama calls and all that, but why would anyone on the way up want any part of that train wreck right now? He could always go elsewhere or remain at Purdue, then come back to UL when some of that dust has settled. I hope I am wrong. He seems like a decent enough guy (unless there is something I have missed).

Don't recall his exact words. He denied the report he would be the next Louisville coach. Not sure he had even met with anyone until yesterday (agent or representative obviously could have, though).
