Matt Canada's name is being floated as a possibility for the Louisville job now. Doesn't appear to be getting the best response considering why he was Maryland's interim coach and the issues surrounding the Louisville program.

Packers fired Skunky Mike McCarthy yesterday - and not seven years too soon! Know this is the NFL, but old friend Do-Run-Run Daboll is reported among the candidates to replace "Skunky B Gone" McCarthy, as are both Hairball Brothers and assorted college coaches (but not Nick Saban [sigh]), including Pat Fitzgerald of Northwestern and his high-powered (say what?) offense, David Shaw of 'Bama Lite (does.not.compute) and Abe Lincoln Riley (his new nickname to make him appear older at least in print).

Interesting ... also may say alot about the coaching search for Maryland as well. Would think Maryland would go with him as he "safe pick" but Locksley would be the better hire.
