Does anyone think that salary is a bit low? 2.75mil for a coach that use to make over 4mil.

It's Kansas - they only pay basketball coaches out there. I am surprised to find it that high

I expect the following Coaches to be contacted about HC, OC, DC positions: Dan Eno, Mike Locksley, Pete Golding, Karl Scott and Gattis.

I agree with Enos, Scott, and Golding. Not sure abou Gattis. Just because our offense has been awesome this year, I do not think Locksley has a lot of appeal due to his history as a HC, right or wrong.

Not really - it’s Kansas. Lester didn’t walk into a bare cupboard at LSU. It will take him at least two- three years at KU to even begin to turn things around.
Look at his record at OSU, compared to Gundy’s.
He has to show he can turn around a program at a perennial loser. If he does, they will pay him.

Re: First Head Coaching Casualty of 2018

I know programs want to win but some programs just need to understand who they are and come to grips with it.
Not every program is destined to be national champs. Not every program can hire a Nick Saban or UM etc.
Some programs it takes longer to build than others. Some just don't have the money to "build" a winning program.
There are only so many good/decent coaches out there so firing one "bad" coach only to hire another is just dumb.
Don't tell Auburn.

I think we can expect the shoe to drop on several more HCs after this Saturday's games. Take a number and have a seat.
