Here's hoping one day some of them will grow as human beings and look back and regret some of the stupid, awful, racist things they've thrown around and actually try to put something good out into the world instead. I know a few of us have gotten there from that place, maybe a few of them will too.
It will be completely up to them no matter whom else they try to blame in the meantime. I hope they do change.

Man I don't know you, your background, or your story. You don't know mine. Race and hate have nothing to do with me not wanting America to be a socialist country. But they are easy terms to throw around to dismiss someone or get a reaction. good job, bud.
You mean like "socialist country"?

I find it humorous that people denounce the Democrats as being the party of socialism.

Social Security - not socialist (people have income garnished, and redistributed later in life, often in an inequitable manner)
Medicaid - not socialist (people have income garnished, and redistributed later in life for healthcare, often in an inequitable manner)
Medicare - not socialist (people have income garnished, and redistributed later in life for healthcare, often in an inequitable manner)
Military Industrial Complex - not socialist (congresspeople budget for things that the military doesn't want because it provides jobs in their district, often in an inequitable manner)
Farm Subsidies - not socialist (tax money is paid to farmers not to grow things (think CRP program))

HCA - definitely socialist
College education for all - definitely socialist

The base takeaway is that things are only socialist if they benefit the young, people without a degree, or people with pre-existing conditions.

Edit: Yes I know those programs were instituted by Democrats, but they have become the third rail of politics. People are happy when they can start drawing on them, and don't see their nature as anything but something owed. I am just trying to point out that there are already many socialist policies on the books.

I think most people realize that pretty much any program that takes your money without your permission has socialist roots.

PDJT tweeted that he agrees with FPBO on his immigration stance. What a funny guy.

“We are a generous and welcoming people here in the US, but those who enter the country illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those who are following the law,” Obama says in the tweeted clip.

“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the US undetected, undocumented, unchecked and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants in this country,” he continues.

Then Mr. Stable Genius should be fine with this caravan presenting themselves at the border & requesting asylum considering it is a legal form of trying to immigrate.

I understand and agree with what you say about not wanting America to be a socialist country. I do however know that there was a lot of pent up hate by those who voted for Trump and now support him because Obama was black. I did not agree with everything Obama did as President, but overall he was respectful of the American people, did not embarrass us worldwide, while inheriting a country whose economy was in free fall at the time. I would say for the most part, that Trump's base of 35% are racists. I also believe that some of those oppose Trump are racists, but understand the reality of the world as it is. America cannot go back to the 1950's.

I’d bet a lot of money there isn’t one Trump supporter who’d be willing to walk (almost all the way) from Honduras to the US/Mexico border to escape rampant violence.
All those communists walking, man they sure must want all that “free stuff”.
Some people are so stupid they make me squint.

I would tell you that any conservative wouldn't walk the entire distance across Mexico if they was safe upon entering Mexico for the reason of asylum. I might however if that excuse landed me somewhere I could be more successful. I'm fine with that as long as it is done legally trough an official point of entry.

Yep - that 60 year old woman, all those pregnant women with small kids - they’re all either terrorists or murderers.
Just recognize the stupidity for what it is - you can’t fix it, and wasting time arguing with morons is futile. As long as you know who they are, avoidance is fairly easy.

Do them being economic/welfare terrorists count? Clearly, women with small children and especially pregnant women have one goal. Anchor babies.

Serious question. Don't we really have MORE than enough population already in the US? Its not the 19th century when we thought we needed more. 350 million seems like more than enough already. Not to sound selfish but bring us a skill that we can benefit from and come on in, maybe. Otherwise lets keep the open spaces that we still have open. This is not directed at any segment of immigrants (racial, ethnic, religious, geographic etc) but applies to all. I hate to see more and more of our open spaces paved over.

Bamaro, that makes too much sense. Stop it. When responding, it should be snarky or condescending.

Yeah I'm sure their one goal isn't just to see their children live without worrying about gang violence, forced prostitution, etc.

Thinking that we have flown C5-A transports full of $100 bills to Afghanistan to bribe war lords for a decade and spent $1 Mil. a day to air-condition our bases without much of a single word of concern about breaking our treasury to do that. Oh but think about contributing to feeding and educating a brown child and the shouting begins!

I think you'd be surprised. I really do. I need to get one of my buddies from Harris County Sheriff's dept to reply to this. Most of these women are gangbangers women and once they drop that child in the US it "anchors" them because of our moronic citizenship interpretation. They then petition to bring in the fathers and that's when all hell starts. Try again.

Trust me, I'm with you on this. If you've read any of my posts about Afghanistan or Iraq, I wish we never would have stepped foot in those countries.
