Only difference between us is that I never made a stop with the Democrats. I've been a lifelong Republican. But in the last 10-12 years, the religious demagogues have taken over the GOP platform, open Socialists are driving the Democrats, and I am now homeless.

I despise them all. I would call them prostitutes, but Mrs. Basket Case says I shouldn't talk about prostitutes that way.
1. Do you even know what "socialism" is?
2. Who are all of these supposed socialists who are "driving the Democrats"? If you name any neo-lib corporate Dem (which is the vast majority of the Democratic party), then I'm not even humoring you with a response. Do some research and stop watching Fox News and Steven Crowder.

I think the term you're looking for is "social democrat", which aren't even common in the Democratic party to begin with. Most true "socialists" are independent, and have very little pull or influence anyway.

You also probably believe that socialism is inherently bad, which is demonstrably untrue. Capitalist societies, including America, already have many socialist aspects.

The Democratic party is extremely corrupt and not worth subscribing to anymore, but socialism is the last reason you should be against them.

What is really scary is this woman can really spin her message. Just what we did not need is another attorney politician. This woman is really scary visibly and verbally.

"But we know sometimes the law does not do what it should, and something being legal does not make it right," Abrams told Tapper.

Well I have to ask Abrams why do we have laws are not being upheld. I am glad shes not running the state government . If elected she would just write her own rules. With a law degree it seems she can count but shes going to pump the rich left wing actors. Maybe Will Ferrell will get her an acting part in his next Ricky Bobby flick.

When a dude's campaign ad is literally indistinguishable from an SNL sketch, you're automatically disqualified, and you're frankly a moron if you honestly believe he's a good candidate. I'm sorry. Mod me if you want, but I'm just speaking facts. The man's a joke. And looks like bizarro Kevin Bacon with a mental disorder.

People having trouble getting ID cards is what I'm hearing?

No sweat.......here's what you do.......

Hotline is set up for anyone having trouble with this. This hotline stays open 365 days/year. If extra funding is needed to do this, it comes from both the Georgia RNC and DNC. Otherwise ideally it's built into the current system in place.

Callers give their address and best time for someone to come by. They are also given the phone numbers of all political candidates in their district as a backup plan, in case things fall through at the first level.

It's up to the voter registration people and political parties to work out all details of what's needed to get these folks their ID cards. Maybe just a digital camera and form to be filled out (?)

I don't understand why this is an issue at all. Who the heck is in charge of things anyway? I may need to have a talk with them and get things straightened out.

Amateurs.....

This is 100% intentional. There is a reason, for example, that when Alabama enacted a new voter ID law that the Licence offices in the predominantly black areas of the State suddenly had to be closed for budgetary reasons.

The GOP can no longer win fair elections so they have to cheat. Even in the south. But instead of moving on with the times they are just learning to cheat better https://www.miamiherald.com/opinion/opn-columns-blogs/leonard-pitts-jr/article221971770.html

we don't actually need to do anything about this. we just need to say there are easy fixes if everyone would just use "common sense".

Our Secretary of State said he is opposed to early voting in Alabama. Getting a jump on his 2022 bid for governor.

So do you have a problem with having to present an Id to vote? If you dont need an id what do you do, go up to the pollsters and pinky promise that you are who you are supposed to be?

I have voted for the last 21 years in 4 different states. I have had to show a valid id every time. Why is this an issue?

As is patently obvious from the quoted material, the problem is when the state makes it more difficult for a particular group to acquire an ID.

What, you mean like closing county/state offices in rural areas completely and closing the ones everywhere else on Wednesday’s? You mean like that?

well, if those people wanted to vote enough, they would pull themselves up by the bootstraps and do it.

It truly amazes me that liberals/Democrats are all up in arms about this. As many years as the Democratic "leaders" preached to it's black/minority constituents that they don't have a chance and that 2+2 is different for minorities than white people so they could keep them squarely under their thumb and as many times in the past that Democrats have been caught red handed having DEAD PEOPLE voting for them (sometimes casting numerous votes). Y'all really want to try to take some moral high ground? Please...….
To be fair, Republicans aren't any better than Democrats. I think the real problem for liberals now days is the fact that the Repubs are now fighting just as dirty as the Dems...…….beating them at their own game...…..But to most liberals/Democrats what's good for the goose is good for the gander only if both goose and gander are libs/Dems.
Again, died in the wool Repubs aren't any better. Most anyone involved in politics now is dirty.

If you have any examples of election fraud as obvious and as widespread as in the GA election, let's see them.

The "Jimmy did it, too" defense?

This is really the best you can do?

I'm telling you, it isn't the politicians that are the real problem - it's the people that carry their water for them.
