Ok. To-oto-o. Maybe I should call him Sir until Tua pronounces it. I hear people pronouncing
Tua's last name as 'Tung- a- Valoa' and it seems that would be incorrect..but ....I never could quite grasp ' Farr-ve' from 'Favre'. The sound order doesn't support that at all. In fact..pronounciation says it is backwards...but the boy knows what his name is...and now he sells razorblades...so.....be it.
Actually, from my brief experience in Hawai’i, I did learn that in almost every instance, every vowel is enunciated individually. The way they pronounce Tua’s last name does seem incorrect, but the way his family pronounces it is the correct way so I’ll go with that, whatever “that” is. [emoji41]

Tua's Dad's name is spelled Galu, but I here it pronounced Nalu. There seems to be a liberal insertion of the letter n.

we've been recruiting him heavily and he was never signing today. So, he will get full court press now, if he wasnt already.
I imagine " full court press" will not do our efforts justice. We'll be Ok at LB, even without Dean. More than Ok if Henry comes aboard.

Is he a pass rush specialist? With Terrel Lewis being out this year, I really feel we are shallow on rushers. Anfernee and Miller at great, but they get tired easily. We’ll lose both of them this year and Eyabi is the only other “pass rusher” I’ve seen play this year and that hasn’t been as often as I hoped. Are we trying to save Eyabi a redshirt or has he just not progressed as fast as expected.

Anoma has played in too many games to redshirt. My guess is his playing time has been a product of more experience ahead of him and development. He has played relatively well, though, all things considered.

I agree. I saw Jamie Mosley playing some after Miller got hurt. I think we will see Anoma and Mosley if no Miller and I don't see Miller playing if he did in fact pull his hamstring.

No, he is slated to play inside at Bama.

Eyabi needs some time with Cochran before he's ready for an every down role but he should be ready next season.

Parks was turning heads in camp but then hasn't played yet. Latu should also be ready to jump in next year.

there are already some very good olbs in this class that may play quickly next year. We have been light on OLBs, mostly due to losing both allen and miller (both back next year)

Anoma has played in most games late, but hes had some issues keeping contain and seems to draw a horsecaller or personal everytime he gets on the field.Though hes also flashed a lot, he has looked fantastic and shown his inexperience often at the same time. He'll be a very good linebacker once he catches up to the level of play. There is also Jerez Parks who may grow into a DE (or may already be listed at DE) he should get playing time next year as an outside guy, parks is probably built better to hold the edge on run plays like jennings.

We can't forget that Anoma is only in his third year of organized football...That learning curve will kick in and he'll be a star!!!

Miller is a 5th year senior. unfortunately the OK game was his last game playing for the Tide.
Allen will come back and hopefully Terrell Lewis ( junior) and Jennings ( redshirt junior) do to.

My mistake i meant to say Allen and Lewis. My bad.
I do think theres a decent chance miller plays or at least tries to play Monday

If he's not fully healed up, I'd rather him not try. Its hard to come back from a pulled hamstring (and his seemed pretty bad), and easy to reinjure. I think it'd be a bad if he plays and isn't fully ready.
