Actually, from my brief experience in Hawai’i, I did learn that in almost every instance, every vowel is enunciated individually. The way they pronounce Tua’s last name does seem incorrect, but the way his family pronounces it is the correct way so I’ll go with that, whatever “that” is. [emoji41]Ok. To-oto-o. Maybe I should call him Sir until Tua pronounces it. I hear people pronouncing
Tua's last name as 'Tung- a- Valoa' and it seems that would be incorrect..but ....I never could quite grasp ' Farr-ve' from 'Favre'. The sound order doesn't support that at all. In fact..pronounciation says it is backwards...but the boy knows what his name is...and now he sells razorblades...so.....be it.
