Yep, looks like they are finally going to do something about changing their name from Redskins. Obviously, they're thinking CRIMSON TIDE!
One of those situations where the organization gets what it can because the player isn't returning after the season.
On Golic and Wingo this morning, Trey Wingo was listing his top 10 pro teams. At somewhere around number 7, he said "the Alabama Crimson Tide." Golic moaned, and Wingo went on to say that they might as well be since half the defense now hails from Tuscaloosa. Good stuff.
That's actually not a bad strategy honestly. Just pick the best from Bama and let them play together like an all-star team of our best and hope they pan out. You already know they can play together.
