Best friend and I did our annual Christmas Village day yesterday. We stayed at the Doubletree on 280. As we got back from supper, the Corps of Cadets were arriving. We talked them for a few minutes, got our picture made with Reveille (gorgeous dog!), and gave them some big Gig ‘ems. Super nice group of young men and ladies.

GAINESVILLE, Fla.
Florida set an attendance record (75,459) as the Gators dominated unbeaten Auburn in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. It was, at the time, the worst loss of Pat Dye’s coaching career at Auburn, and it moved the Gators into a tie for first place in the SEC.
After a 7-7 first quarter, the Gators scored 27 points in the second, seven in the third, and seven in the fourth to run away with the win. Florida rushed for 248 yards, and its defense held Auburn to minus-14 rushing yards and 172 total yards.

It's amazing how much Auburn fluctuates from year to year. To think a year ago they beat us, UGA, and almost won the SEC and made the playoff. Now they can't complete a pass.
