With any opponent that is somewhat competitive with Bama, the answer to your question depends on the officiating crew. MSU will be somewhat competitive. I'm guessing Bama covers the spread.
If I was a bettor then I would stay the hell away from this game. MSU loves to eat the clock and we might see more punts this week than we did vs LSU.With any opponent that is somewhat competitive with Bama, the answer to your question depends on the officiating crew. I hope not...... that was the MOST annoying thing ever to be allowed on TV.....I don't know about the score but what I really want to know is...are we going to hear the screaming girl again??
That was insane. Even though the game is in T-town we could probably still hear her all the way from Mississippi.I don't know about the score but what I really want to know is...are we going to hear the screaming girl again??
That’s where the Tide makes hay - against that offense. Short fields, NOT’s...only thing that worries me is a letdown from last week. This isn’t a good time for that.Good analysis. Their DL is very good and very deep - much better than LSU's. It is the best Bama will play until possibly Michigan and/or Clemson. As you imply their secondary is not nearly equal to LSU's. They held LSU to 239 yds of total offense. Their 4 ints killed them.
Sagarin was pretty close to the line.If you go by Sagarin's numbers (which have only started bing truly relevant in the last few weeks as the data piled up), Bama should be win by 21.
Agreed but will Bama cover the line will be the most interesting thingAs always, I won't predict the score, but Bama is going to crush MSU. Crush them.
The bolded...is that really brag worthy considering how bad their offense really is?Good analysis. Their DL is very good and very deep - much better than LSU's. Alabama held them to 196, so I would have to say YES, holding them to 236 is pretty impressive. That is, unless you think that what Alabama did really wasn't that impressive. The bolded...is that really brag worthy considering how bad their offense really is?
It’s usually when the game is in cowbell land that we struggle not in Tuscaloosa. The only thing that worries me that we might not get a video game score is that MSU eats the ball.I know everyone thinks this game will be close because of our reputation of playing sloppy against MSU in recent years.... But this year is different. MSU does not have Mullin... Prescott, etc. Fitzgerald is struggling this season. I expect the guys to take care of business before half time and great opportunity for 2nd unit to play more in second half... It will not be a blowout, but this is the game for our defense to focus on, because we will stress the turnover... we want interceptions, fumbles, etc. There won't be any emotional letdown this week. We took care of our business against LSU, and we are pretty much relative healthy compared to last two years.
State milked the clock last year and controlled the LOS. Can't allow that to happen this time around. It’s usually when the game is in cowbell land that we struggle not in Tuscaloosa. The only thing that worries me that we might not get a video game score is that MSU eats the ball.
