If I was Brohms, I'd put my phone off the hook...I wonder if he ever coaches again. If “Mama calls” for Brian Brohm, he may just come back.

And why’s that??If I was Brohms, I'd put my phone off the hook...
If Saban thinks he can benefit the program, I say hire him tonight. Please do not bring him into our rehab. We do not need him anywhere near our program.
That ought to make even Gus look good...Let’s get the hashtag trending, #PetrinoToAuburn
That is exactly how I feel. I have no problem having a guy like that working as an offensive analyst for us. I don't think I'd want him as an on-the-field coach. If Saban thinks he can benefit the program, I say hire him tonight.
I need a job where they pay 14 million to get rid of me LOL. I would love to retire with 14 million.Getting fired with a 14 million dollar parachute doesn't even sound like punishment. His pride took a hit, but after what he's already weathered, so what.
HC, probably not. But OC, that's another story. His name has come up for that job a couple times on one of their boards since his firing, if that carries any plausibility.Realistically, Petrino's career as a HC at a major program may be over. He could probably land a job at a Group of 5 program. The caveat to this is whether or not auburn would overlook his shortcomings and hire him.

So UofL can't get through... You do remember house phones...don't you????And why’s that??
Not a millionth of a chance. Could be a legacy hire at a lower level, though.Realistically, Petrino's career as a HC at a major program may be over. He could probably land a job at a Group of 5 program. The caveat to this is whether or not auburn would overlook his shortcomings and hire him.
Actually, that is a very real possibility. I don't see Chip Lindsey keeping his job after the season is over. I wouldn't at all be surprised to see him brought is as a consultant for the rest of their season...Let’s get the hashtag trending, #PetrinoToAuburn
I don’t feel sorry for any of these coaches in the least......working and making millions of dollars. The good ones are good at their craft, and earn the money for them and their schools.....but even the faux ones (see Malzon...Petrino...etc) are laughing all the way to the bank! I hate the barn with a passion, but would gladly coach there for 1/4 of what they paid Gus, and would gladly slide on out of the limelight with my 7 figure bank roll after a 0-12 season!!!Realistically, Petrino's career as a HC at a major program may be over. He could probably land a job at a Group of 5 program. The caveat to this is whether or not auburn would overlook his shortcomings and hire him.
I think he did this on purpose... might explain why Players were fed up with him.Petrino's not that bad of a coach - something happened this season to tank the team like this. Something bigger than LA leaving for the NFL...
BP CFB HC record:
2003: 9-4
2004: 11-1
2005: 9-3
2006: 12-1
2008: 5-7
2009: 8-5
2010: 10-3
2011: 11-2
2013: 8-4
2014: 9-4
2015: 8-5
2016: 9-4
2017: 8-5
average: 9 wins vs 3.6 losses
He's not an epic genius, but he's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than 2-8. He literally had ONE losing season in his career (5-7 - his first year rebuilding Arky) before 2018.
Yep. This year is a major outlier.Petrino's not that bad of a coach - something happened this season to tank the team like this. Something bigger than LA leaving for the NFL...

Right I mean, it’s not like Petrino doesn’t know Offense, sure he may be a scumbag but there’s a lot of scumbags in CFB (see the Tom Herman/Zach Smith) drama, so as long as he behaves himself like Kiffin then I don’t see why not?If Saban thinks he can benefit the program, I say hire him tonight.
I understand, danb and completely agree. Most HCs at that level have very large egos and getting fired lets them know that they are not getting the job done. While it is a blow to their ego; they are paid way more than they are worth, in most cases, and then when they are fired get astronomical settlements to leave because they failed.I don’t feel sorry for any of these coaches in the least......working and making millions of dollars. People, for some reason, feel sympathy over these coach’s careers, when they’ve made more in a year than most folks working their butts off make their entire lives. Not me......(not implying you do at all Gray.....not personally replying that to your quote)
