Could Tua break another Single-Season Record?

It seems Tua just broke the single-season passing TD record (31).

Does he have a chance of breaking the single-season passing yardage record as well?

I am seeing that Blake Simms set it in 2014 with 3109 yards... Tua is currently at 2865, meaning he needs a total of 244 in the Auburn game.

Am I looking at this correctly?

Blake Sims played in 14 games in 2014 when he passed for 3,487 yards, which is 249.07 yards per game. Tua has played in 11 games this season and has passed for 2,865 yards, which is 260.45 yards per game. We know Bama will play in at least 14 games this season, so if Tua maintains his current rate, he will have 3,646 yards after 14 games. So, at his current rate, he should break Blake's record.

If he would have played in more 4th quarters then he would have already done it. So, hopefully after the SECCG he will have it.
Tua setting out the 4th quarters hurt his passing yards
and it hurt our receivers yards also.
Not to mention that a good number of Heisman voters don't know his stats are basically playing 3 quarters a game.
IMO: If Tua had been able to play full games, he would have ran away with the
Heisman Trophy. (He's still one of the favorites... although the media mouths have been pushing other Qbs)

As long as he plays reasonably well the next two games its his IMO. theyre pushing the other way because "we can all stop talking about this... tua locked it up" isnt good TV

Just for the fun of it, he should take a sack against UGA on 1st down and launch another 2nd and 26 TD pass to remind the voters why he deserves their vote.

I posted the following below in the post-game thread wrt Tua's pace to break records.... I'll copy/paste here too...

"Tua is knocking on the door of several records right now with up to 4 games left to play....

Passing TD's Single Season - 31 (1st)
Total TD's Single Season - 35 (2nd) - Record is 36 by Jalen 2016

Passing Yards Single Season - 2,865 (6th) Record is 3,487 by Sims 2014
Total Offense Single Season - 3,050 (3rd) Record is 3,837 by Sims 2014

Career Total TD's - 48 (42 Passing + 6 Rushing) (4th) Record is 80 by AJ
Career Passing TD's - 42 (4th) Record is 77 by AJ

TD's in a Single Game - 5 (Tied for 1st)

Amount of 4 TD passing games in one season - 4 times (Tied for 1st w/ 2012 AJ)

Jmho but Tua will own ALL of these records after next year by a wide margin."
