Awards are nice but doesn't the Maxwell Award seem redundant when the Heisman exists?
It is quite common to see different players win the two awards. AJ won this and not the Heisman. Ingram won the Heisman and not this.

Nothing will be worse than JK Scott not being a finalist for the Ray Guy award.
I thought he was a finalist but just didn't win it.

Anyway, the guy from Iowa is good, but not as good as either of the SEC TEs who didn't make it.

Think there was one year he wasn't a finalist for some stupid reason.

Looked at the stats. The three finalists each have more receptions than Irv. He averages 18.3 yards per catch while they average 16.2, 10.8, and 13.5 respectfully. He also has more TDs than all of them.

Man that's messed up that Irv isn't a finalist.

They must have made the decision before this week's most recent episode of 'Mama there goes my ankles'.
