Carr should have 4, but he was too worried about appealing to fans in 1999. A story where he benched a future 5 time SB champion for an unproven talent in the middle of a game. Probably a huge reason CNS isn’t so quick to yank QBs.

I know there was a stat in which only 3 coaches have beat CNS in b2b games in the SEC and they were

You're right..... just finally saw that Spurrier beat CNS at LSU 2 years in a row (2000 and 2001)
2010 LSU took bama out of the national title conversation headed into auburn. which would have decided the west if bama had won. Fun fact: that iron bowl and the 07 iron bowl were the only two in the saban era where bama was out of the national title hunt at kick off. wild. that fluke ingram fumble and the richardson td drop still haunt me.

Okay, what active HC has the most losses to Coach Saban? I am too lazy to check but probably Les Miles or Dan Mullen.
Thanks - forgot that - either way, Saban did not lose to Spurrier in that game.
I don't think that Mullen ever beat Alabama. If that is correct, he has 9 losses.
