Notre Dame struggling with USC
LSU losing to A&M at halftime
Washington State loses
UCF loses its starting QB for the rest of the year
Even Clemson is struggling with South Carolina

If Notre Dame and LSU goes down, your top 5 next week will be

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Georgia
4. Oklahoma
5. Ohio State

And I'm not sure I wouldn't rank Ohio State above Oklahoma.

Once we get past Georgia, I just don’t see anyone giving us a game save for Clemson. We’d still beat them, but they would keep it closer I think.

I feel like Ohio St. is better than Oklahoma, but that loss to Purdue is just disgraceful. They seem to have one of those bad games every year. Oklahoma can avenge their only loss next week. It will be interesting for sure.

Yeah tOSU is the HUGE winner today. They will at worst be #6 if ND comes back.

If everything holds they'll be in the catbird's seat at #5 waiting for UGA to lose next week.

Talk about a Phoniex rising from the ashes. To jump from #10 to #5/6 on the last regular season weekend.

I think they are better than Oklahoma right now but tOSU has another absolute albatross NR BLOWOUT loss again....... while OK lost to Top 15 Texas in a close game.

But tOSU is jumping L8U no matter what after skulldragging #4 Michigan.

I think ND will in the end beat SC. And if all favorites after that continue to win, then we probably get an Alabama/OU matchup in the first round of the playoffs.

I agree, USCw is just not a good football team. They may hang with ND a while but I don't think it will last.

ND is in but I think they should be the 4th seed (no matter how the remaining games turn out). They will not be conference champions, they will have no more wins then OU, their only signature win (UM) was exposed.

3 top 8 teams lost today. Here’s what I think the rankings will look like Tuesday evening.

1 - Alabama
2 - Clemson
3 - ND
4 - UGA
5 - OU
6 - OSU
7 - UCF

The committee sets up UCF to get in if UGA, OU and OSU lose (assuming UCF can beat Memphis without their QB).
