It can get confusing! It's like, "I don't have anyone to cover! Get me somebody out here to cover! Thank you"
At least the shoes are free!FSU does not have enough players on their team. Mostly shoe fillers, not really players LOL
Arkansas also had 13 guys on the field against us once and got away with it.I remember an Arkansas game in Tuscaloosa during the Shula years.
We were down inside the their 5, heading toward the south end zone student section. The students were going nuts, and Arky got confused on some substitutions....they had only 10 men playing D. The missing guy was a DB, so we had a wideout completely uncovered.
Arkansas never recognized the problem, but the students did. They started yelling and pointing and trying to draw the QB's attention to the uncovered WR. Fortunately, we got the snap off before the Razorback coaches called time out, and it was the easiest TD of all time.
Did it help? No.Arkansas also had 13 guys on the field against us once and got away with it.
See, all the bad calls even out, in the long run. So much for the "the SEC office is in Birmingham, so...............and etc., etc." theory.Arkansas also had 13 guys on the field against us once and got away with it.
Not true - unless FSU has a total turnaround next year, they will suffer two season-long Taggarting calls taking them to the abyss before they can even start to even out...See, all the bad calls even out, in the long run. It did. The very next play, I believe it was, was a game winning play for them. This was in the mid 90's.Did it help? No.
